Water cooling circulator

Dear customer, thank you for choosing our product. After open the box, you can find a colored page of description and this Users' Manual. Please read this manual carefully before use the product.

First of all, please check the equipment model you bought, and get familiar with the electric requirement and its specification. Then, follow the instruction below for operation.

Use Instructions

1. Input water into the tank: Water position should not be higher than 2 cm from the top cap. To avoid of broken tank, please use coolant instead of water in winter time. Water position should be checked regularly and refilled accordingly if needed.
2. Connect inlet / outlet hoses, wire according to the colored page of description. Turn on the machine when everything is in place.
3. Warning: There is a pressure meter by outlet. If there is air in the pump, the hand of the pressure meter will vibrate violently and the hand points to lower end (<0.04 Mpa). It is not allowed to operate under such condition. If this situation occurs, turn off the machine and wait for one minute, then turn it on to pump out air. Generally, you need to repeat it several times till the machine returns to normal, when the hand of the meter no longer vibrates violently. Now the pressure should be higher than 0.08 Mpa.

Maintenance:

1. Water source (coolant): The best and most cost efficient coolant is soft water or stilled water. If tap water is used, anti-contamination liquid (light yellow) MUST be used, and water should be changed regularly (not more than 10 days). If water is used for a long time, contamination could block up the circulation. Severe contamination might ruin the welding gun. This might occur more often at north where water hardness is higher. Besides that, the circulation should be cleaned with our detergent every 60 days. (Sample anti-contamination liquid and detergent are enclosed.)
2. Please make sure moving direction of the motor is correct the first time to plug in the electricity. If the plug is right, air should be brew upward. The meter should be at normal position (>0.08 Mpa). Otherwise, the wire should be reconnected.
3. When you use machine after for long period of idle, before turning on the machine, turn around the fan and make sure the fan is not stuck. If there is no pressure or pressure is low after the machine being turned on, that indicates there is air in the pump. If the problem remains unfixed after turning off / on the machine for several times, you need to loosen the clip to let the air out and reconnect the clip, then turn on the machine. (Make sure water position is adequate.)
4. The machine should not be put under humid environment for a long period.
5. The washer is the only disposable part. It is suggested washer  be replaced every two years. (See Repair on how to replace it.)
6. Anti-contamination liquid: Add 1-2 drops of anti-contamination liquid for every liter of tap water added. 10 drops and 20 drops of anti-contamination liquid are suggested for  Model I and Model II whose tank volume are 10 liters and II 20 liter, respectively.
7. Detergent: Circulation should be checked every 60 days, or when the water turns to white color. Frequency for checking varies from area to area depending on the hardness of water, and how long machine being used. The following method is recommended:
   • Pump out the water from the tank (just turn on the pump after unplugging the outlet hose). Then refill water to 1/3 position, after that, connect the circulation.
   • Input 0.5-1 bottle of detergent, then turn on the pump. The longer the time, the better the cleaning result. Cleaning will not affect the machine.
   • Pump out all the liquid in the tank, refill the tank with suggested coolant together with adequate amount of anti-contamination liquid.

Problem shooting and repairing:

1. Low pressure: It might be resulted from wrong moving direction of the motor. Or it might be resulted from the air in the tank. If pressure is low, and the hand of pressure meter vibrates violently, it indicates there is air in the tank.
2. Low or no water flow while pressure is normal: First make sure the pump is fine, if there is no air in the pump, then the circulation might be blocked. Use detergent to clean the circulation.
3. Noise: Rattling metal noise is abnormal. In such a case, please stop the machine for a check.
4. Pump not work: Turn around the fan, if the fan is ok, then the problem might lie with the motor or circuit, otherwise, both the pump and the motor should be checked.
5. Repairing: Please follow the following instructions for disassembling the machine:

·         Unplug the electricity;

·         Loosen the clip and disconnect the hose, remove the outlet hose from pressure meter.

·         Normally problems lie with motor or the pump. Remove the 4 pins that connect the box and the tank, this will disassemble the machine and you may take out the pump.  Do not try other ways.

·         Remove the fan leaves before check the pump.

6. Repairing of the pump:

l         Remove the 3 pins on the pump body. Pry open the bottom cap with a screwdriver, then remove the M10 nuts beneath the pump.

l         Remove the wheel after opening the bottom cap. If wheel cannot be removed, go ahead with next step to disassemble the pump body, then the fan will fall apart automatically.

l         Remove the 4 pins on the pump. This will disconnect the motor and the moving ring. Now you can see the static ring on the pump body. If it is not a leak problem, you need not to remove the static ring. By now, the whole body should be disassembled. Normally sealing ring should be replaced every two years.

l         Checking the pump and contact us if you find something wrong, you may be granted with some parts. Reverse the order to assemble parts. Make sure sealing ring is clean, and smooth. Seal the tank with 801# glue after the bottom cap is in place.
